Guest Speaker: Mable Tan - Surface Design

Mable Tan is a surface pattern designer, mom, wife, and multi-passionate creative who creates repeat patterns in the surface design industry for clients like Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, and Target. Mable has been selling her art on Etsy and print-on-demand platforms for about 10 years and in 2018 fell in love with creating repeating patterns. For 12 months Mable worked on refining her skills during her son's nap times, late into the night, and on weekends.

Mable has been through the highs and lows of being a creative entrepreneur. One of her biggest passions is sharing her knowledge to help other artists and aspiring surface designers in their creative journeys.
